For her exhibition Let Me Insist presented at the Arroniz Gallery (Mexico City, Mexico), Madeline replicates the surface area of the rooms adjacent to the central space on a 1:1 scale. She curves, folds, bends, and rolls these spaces and then presents them, in relation to the works, in the form of architectural modules.
This edition, created for the occasion, takes the form of an architectural model based on the gallery's floor plans. In it, instead of modules, the peripheral surfaces are straightened and transformed into walls of the central space, creating a new fictional space.
The two proposals, the exhibition and the model, share the same operation of folding inwards from the edges towards the center, articulated with the properties of each space, that of the gallery and that of the multiple.
